What you'll do

☆cherry blossoms season is just around the corner!!☆

We look forward to your reservation!

First of all, you'll be able to choose the pure silk kimono whatever you like, and I'll talk about this fascinating garment while you are trying on your kimono. We'll discuss the texture, meaning of the design, and the relationship between the kimono and the four seasons in Japan. I'll hand out this information and you'll become a kimono connoisseur.

A hairstylist will set up your hair.

Then, we'll have a photoshoot. I'll take some pictures of you in the kimono by the Meguro Riverside or the Megurogajoen. Make sure you bring your camera.
The Meguro River is famous for lots of Sakura trees.

If it rains, you'll enjoy the photoshoot in the tatami room at my kimono studio.

We'll come back to my studio and take a break with matcha and Japanese sweets after we’re finished talking photos.

My kimono collections are authentic Japanese formal kimono for Japanese. You can get a feel for the differences between my collections and for tourist’s kimonos.

This program open : Oct.〜Jun.
Other things to note
In the winter, please bring or wear leggings and a long-sleeved t-shirt with wide collar.
In the other season, please bring(wear) t-shirt or no-sleeved shirt with wide collar.

Hi, my name is Yoshie. I’m kimono teacher in Tokyo. I’ve opened my own kimono school and teach my students about how to wear a kimono.
When I was child, my mother dressed me up in a beautiful kimono, set my hair, and put on my makeup. It was a very very special time for me—and I felt like a princess.
So now, I hope that many people become familiar with this wonderful traditional attire. Try wearing and learning about this garment, and let's enjoy the wonderful kimono world together!

My daughter and I did this together. I will always treasure this day and we have so many photos and a video of our experience. Yoshie and Ara-chan were so friendly and passionate about kimono. I had such a wonderful time learning and wearing the beautiful kimono. We were so lucky to have the sakura still in bloom. They really made us feel very special and I loved that Japanese people we passed actually seemed happy to see us dressed in kimono. If you ever wanted to wear a proper kimono, don't hesitate - book this experience!

Wow, this was such a special and unique experience that I was able to share with my mother. I will never forget this experience with Yoshie-san (kimono master) and Ara-chan (make-up & hairstylist). Yoshie-san was so knowledgeable and they both treated us so well as they got us ready for photos. They both took photos and videos constantly as we walked down the Meguro Riverside under the cherry blossoms and at the Japanese garden within a hotel nearby. Before undressing we made matcha and ate wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets). It has been my dream to wear kimono and Yoshie-san and Ara-chan made the experience so wonderful. I hope to come back and reserve another experience with Yoshie-san in the future!

Yoshie was great in explaining everything and taking care of us, we felt comfortable and relaxed. We loved kimonos colors and quality, they are beautiful and we got very beautiful photos. Everything was done professionally, kimonos were put on us the way Japanese ladies do properly. It was fun to do it with my niece and creating special memories. Thank you Yoshie.

My kimono experience was on 27-Mar-19, and I had a blast! Yoshie San is a kimono master. For a first timer like myself, I learned all the detail components of kimono and learned how different patterns on the kimono fabric show different levels of formality. She patiently picked out the kimono set that I liked and looked best on me. Just as she described, the kimono selections she has are in high quality. Her associate, Kazuko San, was my hair & makeup artist, and photographer. With their extensive experience, I was quickly transformed into a kimono lady and ready to take photos! It was a perfect sunny weather day and cherry blossoms were blooming. We walked along Maguro River and the nearby Hotel Gajoen Tokyo, and took lots of beautiful pictures. Afterward, we had a little snack and matcha, which were delicious! I want to try this experience again in the future when I visit Tokyo again, perhaps in a different season, such as autumn. Thank you Yoshie San and Kazuko San!
