What you'll do

Making the perfect Irish Stew takes time, what better way to pass the cooking time by learning and playing a selection of tabletop games.

First we will welcome you with a light snack and a soft drink, before we get down to cooking. I'll take you through the full process of making a delicious Irish style stew ensuring all the best and freshest ingredients.

Then together we will follow the full process of cooking the stew, before we let it slow cook in the oven and play some games with a drink, while it cooks.

You can choose a board game or two to play from our extensive selection. I will teach you the game, if you don't know it already and we will play together. Then we will enjoy the stew. I will provide everything you need for cooking, playing, some drinks and a recipe card to take with you.

The son of a cookery teacher, I have been cooking since I was knee high to a grasshopper and worked briefly as a chef in the UK, where I grew up. I am passionate about food and learning about regional cuisines wherever I live and travel, and I have lived in a few places.
While living in Reykjavik, I found my passion for board games supporting some friends who opened a Board Game Cafe there.
By day I am a training professional in the tech industry. This experience combines my passion for cooking, games and sharing knowledge and skills with others.
