It is an exciting 2 hours ride which takes you cycling to Kuala Lumpur’s downtown area and the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Petaling Street, Kampung Baru and an Indian Muslim community. The path leads through a labyrinth of hidden alleyways that connects the new and the old of Kuala Lumpur.

This is a '101' introduction to Kuala Lumpur suitable for those traveling on a budget and would like to experience Kuala Lumpur through a locals' perspective. As we ride, I will share not only the history, but daily rituals and regimes that will intrigue and amaze you. We will rent bicycles for this activity.

I am an avid hiker and cyclist. I love the outdoors and during my spare time, I am either found in the jungle, trekking, camping, exploring a cave, cycling and recce-ing a new trail, swimming underwater with the fishes, jumping on my bicycle to explore new hawker stalls or enjoying time with my family.

I volunteer for Rimba Project, an urban biodiversity survey, where plants and animals co-exist harmoniously with humans and an active volunteer for the annual Raptorwatch with the Malaysian Nature Society.

Cycling is always a good way to see a city. One of the few(if not only ) bike tour in KL. Good workout and felt like a gym training session

I really appreciated the depth of Elena's knowledge and passion for Kuala Lumpur. Her interest in the developmental and policy aspects of the history of the city makes the experience feel like you are immersing with a local friens rather than going on a tour. She gives great insights that I would have not known anywhere else. She is very well prepared and polite, giving me a very professional impression of her. If you love history, especially with little bits of local trivia, Elena is your guide. I highly recommend her bicycle tour.

I really enjoyed the actual bike riding and I enjoyed the exploration of the wet market midway through the ride, but overall, I felt that this tour wasn't incredibly informative. Elena had a system of pointing at landmarks as we biked along, but I wished there had been more explanations throughout the experience. I was most looking forward to learning about Malay people's daily rituals and regimes, but I can't recall any of that information... Maybe it's because I was the only one on the tour that day and therefore, there was no need to entertain a larger group. On the bright side, Elena provides all the necessary equipment (bike with basket and safety net, helmet, vest, etc.) and she is friendly & happy to answer questions.

Excellent tour! Got to see historic buildings, churches, temples, hidden alleys. Never would have visited these sites on my own. Great to hear the history of KL as well. Highly recommended!
