What you'll do

After creating lot and lots of terrariums and giving them away as gifts to friends and family, I decided to create this experience out of love of all things green and planty. I like sharing my knowledge and passion for plants with guests in my studio @ Greenworks Madrid.

I would love to teach you how to create your very own mini terrarium step by step.
It will be fun and you will have the chance to meet other plant lovers in Madrid. All materials are included, also a bag to take your terrarium back home!

I left the corporate marketing world to become a full time vertical garden designer. I founded Greenworks Madrid, a showroom to showcase vertical gardens designed in Sweden and spend my time designing vertical gardens, living furniture and more plant related products. I am a passionate plant lover. I studied green landscaping in NY, Stockholm, London and Madrid...and I am also a super-host at Airbnb.

Where you'll be

In our showroom, Greenworks Madrid, surrounded by unique plants, vertical gardens, living walls.

We are located across Madrid Rio , one of the most lovely parks in Madrid, and just a stone's throw away from Arganzuela's Crystal Palace, Madrid's largest greenhouse and one of its best kept secrets. If your booking time coincides with the opening hours of the Palacio de Cristal greenhouse (Madrid's biggest); we will do a mini guided tour around this fab space.

Meeting Xavier was incredible. His little shop is an amazing place to disconnect from everything that is on the outside and to just focus on the plants, and the experience that we were doing. He was really detailed on the instructions of making our terrarium while also giving space for conversation and humour within his class. I would likely go again to do other experiences with him.

Una experiencia diferente y muy atractiva, no sabía nada sobre el mundo creativo vegetal y la verdad es que me ha sorprendido. Leo te transmite su pasión por este mundo, y te enseña a realizar paso a paso un terrario que después puedes utilizar como ornamento en casa. Trato personal y cercano, y ambiente ideal para relajarse mientras realizas tu propia creación vegetal. Muy recomendable. A different and attractive experience. I was new in the world of vegetal creativity, and it was enriching and suprising. Leo transmitted his passion for plants while he taught us how to create our own terrarium step by step. A warm and cosy environment for discovering how versatile and imaginative this activity can be. Regardless of your experience on gardening and plant creativity, I 'd fully recommend it.

Definitely a must. Xavier was a great host and dedicated a lot of attention in making us feel welcome and assisted at all times. There were lots of interesting insights along the way and the outcome was just lovely. Great fun as well!
