What you'll do

Hey there! First of all, pat yourself on the back. Really, I mean that. Because you’re a unique person who is seeking an equally unique travel experience. Kudos to that. And guess what? You just found one!

No, it’s not my photowalk. It’s actually the Lodhi Art District itself. And here's a little secret. You can easily visit this place all by yourself! Here's why:

1. No tickets needed and open all day, round the year
2. Amongst the safest areas in Delhi
3. Friendly locals

Honestly, it doesn’t matter if you book my tour or not. But please, do yourself a favour and make sure you visit the Lodhi Art District.

However, if you do decide to explore this place with me, here's what you get in addition to everything mentioned so far.

1. A Curated Experience - We will take my hand-picked route that will take us through the most interesting pieces of work in 2 to 3 hours. An end-to-end walk with every piece takes well over 4 to 5 hours and can become quite daunting.

2. All Art, No BS - The Art is essentially what this neighbourhood is worth exploring for. I ensure that the entire time we spend together brings the focus down to just that.

3. An Artist’s Perspective - What better way to explore an art district than with an artist himself? I can assure you that my unique perspective will help you look at these works differently.
Other things to note
Since I'm actively involved in other projects besides this experience, I only keep selected dates available for booking. In case you don't see an available date or time slot as per your convenience then please do get in touch with me. I'll do my best to make a suitable slot available for you!

I'm an internationally-published Street & Documentary Photographer based in New Delhi, India. My journey towards what I do today started back in 2006 while living and working in Southern Africa. I took up photography back then as a hobby, to do something over the weekends. Gradually, my interest grew in it and I started looking at photography in a more serious manner. Taking the long way around, I've transitioned from a hobbyist to a professional over the last twelve years. Along the way, I've explored my craft, made mistakes, learnt from them and have had the time of my life which I wouldn't trade for anything else. I'm now at a stage where I'm keenly looking forward to sharing what I know with others and helping them grow as image-makers who love exploring our beautiful world visually!

Where you'll be

For you to have an amazing experience, I have split it into 3 parts:

1. We start with the early works and the stories behind them.

2. We will then move onto stories of this neighbourhood as well as a unique graffiti wall that contains many deep and unfiltered messages.

3. Last but not the least, we move towards some of the newer works.

P.S. - Throughout the walk, I'll reveal to you many hidden aspects that exist in both older and newer works!

It was amazing experience not only because of the arts on the wall but the stories shared by varun behind them, it actually bought more value to the art. As I'm also a photographer his suggestions helped me lot. If youwant to spend some quality time and conversations while capturing the art then this for you. He is very helpful even after the walk is over.

Varun has a deep knowledge of the art community in Delhi & throughout India, and shared a lot on the history of this specific community. Was fun to tour the area, take some photos and get to know each other. Varun was flexible in booking, helped guide me to where I needed to go next, and shared many general tips for Delhi life. Great option for a street art geek like myself :) or anyone who is looking for a more unique, less crowded way to tour Delhi. Thank you!
