About your host

We are a team of passionate "porteños": Nicolás is a sociocultural anthropologist (UBA), Iván is an archaeologist (UBA), Mónica is a sociologist (UBA) and Aldana is a historian (UBA). With wide experience working at national museums, the three of us are passionate about history and we love sharing and discussing it.

What we’ll do

Escape tourist agencies and get to discover Buenos Aires from an anthropological point of view. Don't expect to just walk and listen: be prepared to talk, make questions, taste mate and discuss about the past, present and future of the Argentinean capital. Beginning in Lezama Park and ending in Plaza de Mayo, this walk offers you the chance to approach this beautiful city from its historical past…

What else you should know

Curious people are welcome! Come with questions, walking mood, comfortable shoes, your camera and a bottle of water.
