What you'll do
No stone carving experience is required. In my workshop, I will explain the sculpture process in direct carving and guide you at every step. You will begin by choosing one of the proposed themes, and then you will clear the major lines of the sculpture. I will show you how to turn a block into a living sculpture, using different techniques and tools. If you wish, I can take beautiful pictures of you working on your sculpture.

Practicing sculpture since 1989, I have carved many types of stone, and my passion has only grown. In addition to my creations, I attend many symposiums around the world and share my passion with other practitioners. Doing an experience with you is a wonderful way to share my passion. Where you'll be
My workshop is located in rue Juiverie, one of the oldest streets in the heart of Old Lyon—where the famous Nostradamus lived. Near my workshop are all forms of transportation—bus, metro, and trains.

I was dubious about the experience when I walked in as you are joining her regular class. But within minutes she taught me a new way to make sculpture. Everyone in the class was welcoming, despite a bit of a language barrier. Art truly is universal and Aurélie was a great teacher!
