What you'll do

We will trek up a mountain road to a series of three large waterfalls, these are mostly frozen in winter creating a unique viewing experience. On the way I will explain the local flora and fauna, culture and history of the area.
At the largest waterfall we will stop for lunch.

Winter hiking wear and hiking shoes/boots
Crampons - (expensive ones with large spikes are not needed.
Can be provided if needed, please mail in advance.)

Where you'll be

Unazawa valley has 3 major waterfalls in the foothills of Otake mountain, these are called Mitsugama-no-taki, Nejire-no-taki and O-taki (which is 20m tall)
