What you'll do

Walk in the tropical rainforest with a Jungle Guide to spot monkeys, birds and insects while listening to the jungle orchestra. Along the way, discover the history of the remaining rainforest in Kuala Lumpur. You'll see, touch, smell and taste some useful plants and edible herbs to take home. Highlight will be the 21-metre high canopy walk. We'll also sit down to snack and try some hands-on activity. Suitable for young children going on their first trek.

Private group booking available and afternoon slots possible upon enquiry.
Other things to note
Comfortable shoes, sleeved shirt and long loose pants recommended.

Where you'll be

We will conduct our guided walk in KL Forest Eco Park, also known as Bukit Nanas (Pineapple Hill) Forest Reserve. It is the last remaining patch of rainforest in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. A treasured green lung and sanctuary in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city.

Also easily combined with a trip to Kuala Lumpur Tower.

John was very knowledgeable. Very good tour if you enjoy nature and what it has to offer. When you are in town book a tour with John for a great outdoor adventure.

John knows a lot about the area and shares his insight. He was friendly, helped with photos and took time to ask about us. I highly recommend this experience.

It was a very interesting trip, I learned something, for example Zikaden changes the skin, I could test the smell and the taste of plants I have never heard about and he showed me tricky games of the aboriginal People.

John was fantastic! Really knowledgable about the environment and culture. I would highly recommend touring with him to get the background information on the Rain Forest. Bring walking shoes and mosquito repellant because they will get you.

It was a great experience. John is passionate about the conservation of the jungle and educating people about it. We spotted so many things on our walk round. Our youngest daughter helped find loads of interesting insects and animals. Would love to do it again and see what else we can spot!
