What you'll do

We'll jump into the daily life of Alameda Central park to learn about the aristocratic society of the XIX century, hot air balloons, the history of the Catrina, Poplar trees, National celebrations and some other topics related to the first urban park in Mexico City. Then discover the meaning and the importance of traditional Mexican folk art with a guided visit to the Popular Art Museum, an Art Deco building, and learn about the materials, colors, religious porpuses and other facts about local craft and the main Mexican traditional festivities around the country. After we finish the visit to the musuem we'll walk to the "Ciudadela Market" and if you are interested on bying some of the beautiful pieces of handy craft, we could spend around one hour while we continue learning about Mexican folk art from the entire country.
