What you'll do

Ideal for those who want to understand and feel one of the oldest cities in Europe, Lisbon: to hear its sounds, to smell it, to walk along its streets, to cross with its inhabitants and even taste it.
Prepare to stroll through the most symbolic areas of the city, starting with Rossio Square, the heart of the city, where you will enjoy a pleasant taste of the most valuable cherry liqueur of Lisbon. After we understand the tragic history of the Baixa District architecture, we will continue to visit the Chiado district, the most elegant hill in the city.
Impressions will intensify along with the trip on the famous tram No. 28, by which we will arrive in Alfama, the oldest and most picturesque quarter of the city with a labyrinth of narrow streets and tiled facades where all neighbors know each other, children play in the street and the smell of sardines hangs in the air.
Lisbon is a city of contrasts full of charm and secrets that I'll open to you!
Other things to note

It was a lovely walking tour with our guide. He was personable, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions. All topics about Portugal were open for discussion. This helped us better understand the countries past and current culture. We were introduced to diverse historical sites, flavors, neighborhoods, shops, and beautiful views of the city.

The tour was quite ok. 50€ for walking is quite a lot when it does not include anything. You even had to pay for the drink of the guide also.

Great walking tour taking in a lot of the highlights of Lisbon - we did a lot of steps but it was totally worth it. The breaks for snacks and drinks along the way we're welcome and needed.

Oleg was not available for our tour, and the guide we had admitted that he had problems speaking well in English. We did not spend enough time walking around old Lisbon, and instead drove to Belem, which was not advertised on the description.
