We will make pici (typical pasta of our territory), tagliatelle, ravioli and end the day tasting the result of our work together with a glass of wine and a good dessert.

Where you'll be

We chose to start our day with a visit to the small medieval village of Bagno Vignoni, known for its thermal waters and because it is set in the Natural and Cultural Park of Val d'Orcia, as well as the UNESCU Heritage!
Later we will move to the farm or in exceptional cases in a villa in San Quirico d' Orcia, where with Angela and Manuela put your hands in dough!

This was a dream-come-true experience. A cooking class in a Tuscan country kitchen. Although we did not share language, it did not hamper communication. Manuela and Angela worked hard to accommodate English and when words were not understood, gestures, demonstration and Google translate were fine! In fact, I think it added to the experience. We were able to actively participate in the food preparation and then enjoyed a beautiful meal together. Delicious!! Highly recommended!

Our afternoon with Manuela was a dream come true. Manuela was organized and skilled in the kitchen. It didn't matter that Manuela's English was limited and our Italian was extremely limited. She clearly communicated what it was we were to do and together we cooked a delicious meal that we shared together. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who loves food and is interested in an authentic Tuscan experience!

From the moment we arrived in Bagno VIgnoni, Manuela and Angela made us feel at ease. We began with a brief stroll through the town and they provided us with the history of the thermal springs and the old mill that once stood nearby. Then it was off to Manuela’s magnificent home amongst the rolling hills of Tuscany for our pasta lesson where we were warmly greeted by Manuela’s husband with some local pecorino and prosecco. With Angela and Manuela’s friendly encouragement and excellent guidance we learnt to make pici (local Tuscan pasta), tagliatelle and ravioli, all accompanied by much laughter. Soon it was time to eat and consume the fruits of our labors. We were made to feel as though we were part of the family the entire time. A truly memorable experience. Buon appetito!! Grazie mille per la tua favolosa ospitalità! È stata una delizia assoluta per trascorrere del tempo con tutti voi!

We had such a wonderful time at this pasta making class with Manuela and Angela. The duo were so friendly, welcoming and encouraging. The class was taught mostly in Italian with some key English mixed in, which was helpful because my husband and I don't really speak Italian, but we got along wonderfully. The class is taught at the farmhouse of Manuela and her husband. We learned how to make 3 types of pastas, and at the end Manuela and Angela prepared them with sauces while we had hors d'oeuvres. Then we all sat down together to dinner with the other participants and some of the guests staying at Manuela's agriturismo, which for me was the most fantastic part of the experience. Despite all of the language barriers, we laughed and laughed all night long getting to know these wonderful people. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking to have an authentic experience and meet new people along the way!

Manuela and her family were absolutely amazing. We enjoyed the entire day with them and the level of hospitality was unmatched. During the class we learned everything we needed to know on how to make 3 different pasta dishes and then enjoyed dinner al fresco under the stars. You are missing out if you don’t book this experience!!!!! I look forward to the day I can return and visit with Manuela and her family.
