What you'll do
If you would like to discover a special, charming, quite and off the tourist path place, do not miss out Gràcia neighborhood!
During this experience we will walk around this lovely district, home of artists, and discover enchanting and hidden squares, narrow streets, local shops (if wanted) and street art while feeling its laid back and positive atmosphere. I will point out items of interest along the way, including the first Gaudi house, providing backstories and a local point of view.
You will get to know interesting historical facts which makes the district different and unique, as it was an independent town in the past.
We will stop in one of the squares and have a drink inside a local bar of Gràcia. If you're into wine we will go instead to a place where you can taste different kind of local wines.
You will get a customized and personal tour adapted to your needs and interests, along with a map with recommendations. I will also answer any question you might have about Barcelona and catalan culture.
I'm looking forward to meeting you! :)
PS: because of covid, we all will wear a mask.

I'm a local Catalan artist and a tour guide who has been living in Gràcia for many years and as I'm really in love with this charming and artsy neighbourhood I would like to share it with YOU.
Nowadays I'm a freelance artist who sells and promote her paintings, I used to work also as a tour guide in Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, a modern and beautiful old hospital with a lot of history.
After my studies in Fine Arts I lived 4 years abroad Europe; France, Finland, Netherlands, Germany, Check Republic and Switzerland. Therefore I speak fluently english and I like to meet travelers worldwide. In the past I used a lot Couchsurfing and then Airbnb as a guest because I wanted to know a local point of view so that's why now I want to offer the same.

Where you'll be
Gràcia is a charismatic, bustling, cosmopolitan, bohemian district with culture and creativity wherever you turn. It is a place where lifelong residents, exchange students, Gypsies who play music in the streets, and bohemian artists looking for inspiration all live side by side. The young and not-so-young greet each other in the squares while queuing at the independent cinema. It is one big family in Gràcia, a district with room for everyone.
We never would have thought to explore Gracia if we hadn’t come across Ainna’s tour. We’re so glad we did. Gracia was a great place to wander through—history, unique culture, courtyards, and shops—and Ainna was a great guide. She pointed out many unique architectural features of the neighborhood, told us a little of its history, and generally gave us a strong sense of its culture and unique traditions. Ainna’s tour greatly expanded and enhanced our Barcelona experience.

We took a tour of the Garcia neighborhood with a local, Ainna. She was obviously proud and knowledgeable of her neighbor. It was great to hear about the different town squares and the history.
After the tour, she emailed us information on food and local events. The next morning she emailed us a reminder about our next experience and directions on how to get there! She is very friendly and goes above and beyond. It was a great way for us to start our vacation.
