I had a great experience hiking with Nikki, Chad and their friend. The trail they chose was a perfect balance between amazing landscapes and physical effort / challenges. Plus we got to bathe in Snow Lake surrounded by beautiful trees, rocks and mountains with some snow! Nice pictures in the camera and mind! Not many people go up so we could enjoy its quietness. Nikki and Chad are very friendly and easy-going; they meet you as you are and make sure you have an awsome experience.

This hike was everything that I could've asked for and more. Nikki and Chad welcomed us warmly even though parking made us a little late for the hike (Lesson: go a little earlier because parking is limited). We were a group of 6 people and we started the hike at around 9:30 AM, saw the Cascade lake, the Cascade fall and hiked up all the way to Snow Lake, which, by the way, you won't be able to reach on your own. Nikki knows the way so well and made us feel super comfortable and secure! There wasn't another human being with us and it truly felt amazing how confident Nikki was about this thing. We finally reached Snow Lake at around noon. Forget Tahoe and Cascade, Snow Lake is the most pristine lake you'd find in California. Untouched, isolated and surrounded by snow clad mountains and trees. That view and that clear water made the hike so worth it. Nikki and Chad had made lunch for us (super sweet). We had some quinoa salad with chickpeas, mangoes, roasted carrots, and tortillas and hummus. She also had extra water and Vitamin C for us in case we needed it. We relaxed at the lake for about an hour and honestly, it felt like I was there with a group of close friends, just chatting and laughing. We left the place at around 1:30 and by 3:30 we were back at the Trailhead. They stopped every single time one of us felt breathless or needed pictures or needed help. We crossed so many brooks and mini forests and Chad was constantly updating us on what will come next and what to expect. The views were out of this world. You will definitely feel like you're one with nature. This is the experience you absolutely want to have, and you will not regret it! They also do special hikes in the Winter so do hit them up whenever you're in Tahoe. They're super responsive and extremely fun to hang out with.

This hike was an awesome way to see parts of Tahoe you would never find on your own. Nikki was very friendly and a wonderful guide. This is a great experience for someone who is in shape and loves a challenge, as the hike is very intense and requires endurance and balance.

The hiking experience to a secluded lake with Nikki was truly a once in a life time experience for me. It was challenging and I’m grateful for that. A true learning experience, the scenery is out of a movie, pictures don’t do it justice.
