Im bilingual, Spanish and English. I enjoy nature the most. I lived in Boston, MA where I finished university and worked in bars and restaurants and came to Bogota where I had a coffee shop and restaurant for 8 years.
I recently moved to Santa Marta with my wife where we can enjoy the beautiful Sierra Nevada and what it has to offer. Going up the Sierra Nevada to Minca to this antique coffee farm in the middle of the jungle is an amazing experience as well as visiting the local beer brewery at the farm whose secret is the water from the Sierra Mountain.

Where you'll be

We will visit La victoria coffee farm founded in 1892 by Charles and Alice Bowden who initially came to work on the railroad system. They started the coffee plantation with the help of natives and became one of the major organic coffee producers in their time.

Definitely a unique experience and a wonderful way to escape the heat of Santa Marta! Minca is beautiful & very relaxed, loved learning about the whole coffee process on an actual plantation! Such an amazing experience.

This was a lot better than I expected. I have never been on a tour like this that packed so many different experiences into an all day event and each of them were wonderful. The foods we sampled were all delicious and the meats at the old style brick oven restaurant on the side of the road was the best we had in Santa Marta. Nick is a great guide and he let the tour continue at our pace. This is a must do tour when visiting Santa Marta and I highly recommend it.

What a great trip! Nick picked me up with the jeep and showed me the coffee farm and a small brewery in a very relaxed way. After that we were off-road to a waterfall, I felt very comfortable and recommend everyone to book this trip! Nick is very friendly and takes all the time.

Great experience. I’m so glad we went with Nick and will tour with him in the future. Coffee farm and brewery were delightful and delicious. Nick is laid back and let’s group go at our own pace. He was very helpful and kind getting me over the creek without falling in. Thanks!

Great tour! Nick is an excellent guide who has put together an awesome experience. At no time did we feel rushed, nor was there too much down time. The tour had a perfect flow from the pickup to drop off. Every aspect from the coffee farm, to the BBQ to drinks at the hostel made for full day that nick has carefully crafted. I cannot recommend this tour with nick enough.
