Laura Browne was our excellent guide for this wonderful evening of history, sightseeing, stories, food & drink and most importantly, great craic! This tour surpassed all my expectations as we were able to experience 3 unique venues we almost certainly would not have found as tourists, we ate fantastic food, with drink pairings, and we were treated to a guided walking tour of the history of Galway, all the while given a real taste of the true Galway. Laura was the best guide. Very personable and fun, full of great stories dating back hundreds of years along with personal anecdotes of her own life in Galway. I couldn't recommend this evening / tour more highly.

Our host was amazing! She was very welcoming and had a lot of insider knowledge, the food was nothing special, I would try a different tour rather then the Irish food experience

Sorry to give such a low score, but we were really disappointed in this tour. Two out of three stops were hotel pubs on eyre square, and not any of the variety of restaurants mentioned in the description. Seems lazy and hardly places known for the food we were having. For the money, we could have twice over paid for a delicious dinner of our own choosing elsewhere, as there are many great restaurants to choose from in Galway.

We had a great time with John. He was an educated and excellent host. Would not have found two of the places we went on our own and those were the two best places we ate. I should point out the last place was the third course so we had some very good desert and a true Irish Coffee (that we made ourselves under John's tutelage). Would recommend for anyone visiting Galway for the first time.

We had this tour on our first day in Galway and that was a perfect start to discover the city. We learned about the history of Galway, about the people who are living there and of course abouz the food and drinks they like to have. We had much fun and we can absolutly recomend this experience
