What you'll do

A Kayak tour around the bay reveals an old stone fort built to protect the area from pirates and a variety of marine life. Where the harbour meets the open sea, paddlers are rewarded with views of the Pembrokeshire coast towards Dinas Head, a rugged coastline of towering cliffs and caves.

Fishguard Bay is a place of natural beauty and tranquillity. The deep bay, surrounded by high cliffs, offers calm seas and natural protection from Pembrokeshire’s characteristic coastal winds and waves – the perfect place to go kayaking.

We'll kit you out with toasty wetsuits and equipment to keep you warm happy and afloat. Then after a quick safety briefing, we'll hop on the kayaks (single and tandems available).

Next a practice and a play before heading off around our sheltered coastline talking about local history and marine life. Paddling into the secluded bays and caves that can be found on the Pembrokeshire coast is a great experience not to be missed.

All our tours are tailored to the group and the weather to maximise enjoyment.

Your photo memories are free and included in the cost of the experience.
The email or mobile phone number that you add to your medical waiver is where your photos will be sent to.

Hop on a sea kayaking tour with us and we’ll take you off the beaten track to hidden coastlines, beautiful sandy beaches, remote caves and wildlife utopias.

Kayaking is my LOVE! Sharing the magical Pembrokeshire coast and its marine life is where my passion lies. After first experiencing kayaking as a young man in Scouts, kayaking has since taken me around the world. I enjoy all the different styles of kayaking, especially whitewater waterfalls/rapids, sea kayaking and surfing big waves. From age 8 til now, I haven't stopped playing in a kayak!

Where you'll be

We'll head out along the coast exploring caves and secluded bays.

Highlights (weather dependent) include:

Rainbow cave- A cavernous cave with a variety of colours on the walls. This cave has a waterfall for its entrance and often makes noises like a dragon breathing.

Seal beach - In late August this beach has seal pups.

Needle Rock - A towering rock arch that can be paddled through. This sea stack has rare nesting birds in early summer.

We booked this adventure because of the first couple of photos that sold it to us. We wanted those pictures paddling inside the caves but we didn’t go there. It was a massive blow to us and we have not been communicated anything about the reason why we didn’t go, despite the host saying we can paddle for us long as we want and we’re capable. The weather was fab so again don’t get why we didn’t do it. If we knew that they were not taking us to the caves we wouldn’t have gone for it. Waste of money and time. What’s advertised in pictures is not what you will experience. Otherwise paddling was nice but I wouldn’t recommend otherwise if you want the caves that have been photographed. Don’t based your your choice on those photos.

Had such a fabulous time out on the water for my birthday outing! It snowed in the morning and we were kind of dreading it thinking it would be freezing, but they kitted us out in all the necessary wind proof and wetsuits so we were fine - the weather did clear up for us also! Lovely description of the surrounding area and we learnt a lot! Thanks for a lovely day out!

My husband and I had a wonderful time kayaking, the views were amazing and our guide had a good knowledge of the critters we saw as well as the local history of the coast. Excellent value for money. 100% would recommend

Really great way to spend a few hours and explore the coast. Thanks for how helpful you were after bad weather postponed it a few times. We had a really great trip with Amy as our tour guide.
