What you'll do
I really hope you'll feel a connection to Skye's unique island culture. For a few hours atleast, I want you to live like a local. You'll taste unique local snacks, learn a few Gaelic words and uncover our epic story. We'll walk to the most stunning views many visitors miss. You'll discover Skye's Jurassic, past as you gaze out across our island and over the sea to Scotland. From Viking invasions, to the rise and fall of our most famous clans, I'll share it all with you. Fans of Game of Thrones and Outlander will love this true story! Our walk will take us along hidden trails and up the hill towards Ben Chracaig. The views are spectacular. We often see our local sea eagles on their last flight of the day. This area is home to many of our local sea creatures and wildlife. It quite hard to convey the quietness & calm of a summers evening here. Portree will reappear beyond the headland as we trace the coast home. We’ll arrive back to a traditional Scottish pub, pairing some chocolate, with our famous local whisky. I’ll talk through how our whisky is made and help you appreciate it in a new way. Chocolate and whisky is the only way to end an adventure - with friends - on Skye!

I'm a musician, Portree local and descendant of Skye's most famous clan. I've always felt inspired to learn and discover as much as I could about our Island. My life has been spent exploring the amazing landscapes and stories that surround our small harbor village. Many of these stories I've shared through my own music across the world, traveling & playing music in places like Nashville, Tennesee. I want people to experience Skye the way I have since my childhood - through music, exploration, stories and enjoying our amazing local produce.
