Where you'll be

Keel beach on Achill Island is 4km of fantastic, safe, sandy beach bounded on one end by cliffs and surrounded by mountains. The beach is southerly facing so it usually has waves in summertime when many other beaches are calm.It has a European Blue Flag We have a variety of sealife, the migratory of route basking sharks (huge harmless plankton eaters!) brings them into Achill every summer and dolphins, porpoise and seals are all commonly seen.
