What you'll do
The tour begins in the heart of the city, a tourist point of interest in front of the church of Santo Domingo de Guzman and we start with curious facts and history of our city, in total we will visit three different mezcalerías, one traditional, one specialized and one avant-garde. We will start in a traditional mezcalería where we will talk about the history and origin of mezcal, we will continue through a street full of legends and myths something that you can not miss, in the second mezcalería we will talk about different types of mezcal and producing areas in this place will be made a tasting of mezcales, to continue along the route we will go through museums of photographs and through a park of painters, and finally we choose a mezcaleria with signature cuisine and we will talk about inclusion of mezcal in haute cuisine, there you will taste a cocktail of mixology and a dish created especially for you. The mezcalerias tour of the city is a social project that we designed a group of friends to create our self-employment, this tour is to show how incredible is mezcal and living in Oaxaca, a cosmopolitan city.

Zareni and I are two friends who love the culture of mezcal, we have participated in different projects focused on spreading the products derived from agave. Together with Zareni we offered the tour because we like to be hosts. Zareni is a marketer and is a writer of contemporary poetry, she is passionate about mezcal as local products and we met through Oaxaca. I am a Sociologist and I specialize in fair trade and social entrepreneurship, prototypes development and companies with a community and social purpose. Our goal is to disseminate how wonderful Oaxaca is.
