What you'll do

This is your opportunity to enjoy the transformational experience of a private yoga meditation session developed specifically to meet your needs. Whether you are a beginner or an advananced yogi, a special program will be developed to develop your yoga and meditation practice. You can book a session on your own, or come with a group of friends. We will meet at my home, (which is 5 minutes from the beach) to commence the session. Before we begin we will complete a yoga, meditation and health questionnaire that allows you to identify your specific issues and needs.

We will then commence your private yoga meditation session and enjoy 1.5 hours of:

• Pranayama ( breath work)
• Asanas (poses)
• Shavasana (relaxation)
• Meditation (guided).

Your practice will be specifically designed for you. Whether you are a beginner, or an experienced yogi and meditator, your class will be designed to meet your needs.

I am a certified Yoga Teacher and Meditation Facilitator who has been practicing yoga since 1993. I'm also a post graduate qualified adult education teacher which provides me with the skills to develop a session that meets your individual level and needs.

Drawing from my experience in the Hatha, Iyenga, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa traditions, and contemporary anatomy and physiology knowledge I will develop a class that emphasises focus, flexibility and strength.

Where you'll be

Your Yoga and Meditation Session will be held at my beautiful architecturally designed home, 5 minutes walk from the Palm Cove Esplanade. The yoga and meditation space (on my covered deck) overlooks a tropical garden and pool area.

The whole experience was really comfortable and Cathrena was an amazing teacher. It was just my partner and I and wasn’t awkward at all. She made me aware of what parts of my body needed the most attention and it was really easy to follow and understand the instructions. Really enjoyed the meditation and the start and end as well. This was a great experience! I haven’t been doing yoga for long and it was nice to have 1:1 personal coaching. The studio is close to the main tourist area in Palm Cove. Cathrena was friendly and really took the time to coach me and improve my yoga practice. Overall, I would do this again.

Very much enjoyed the personalised class. I had a spinal injury last year and Cathrena customised the session according to my needs. She is highly professional and provided me with guidance on how to improve my yoga postures. I very much enjoyed it and can highly recommend it to anyone who would like to get some personal feedback on how to improve your yoga. Cancellation policy

Any experience can be cancelled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 7 days before the experience starts.

Government ID

You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.

Guest requirements

Up to 6 guests ages 18 and up can attend.
