Bonjour! I live in Provence & I hold a degree in Wine & Spirit. I convinced local awarded wineries to open their doors to our guests. As a traveller myself, I think that taking a wine tour is a great way to learn about local wines, culture, tradition.

I have guided many wine tours in Provence until I started to get too many requests... We're now a crew of wine experts, sharing the same passion for Provence wines and the same values about hospitality:

Peter: used to work as a sommelier and in the spirits business. He lives here for 10 years now.

Fabienne: born in Burgundy, she has extensively travelled the world and guided hundreds of wine tours.

Eric: holds a winemaking degree, and has an absolute passion for Provence wines.

Stephane: worked as a winemaker for several wineries, and is glad to share his knowledge with you.

Where you'll be

You will visit 2 wineries along the wine tour: at each winery, you'll get aprivate visit and a tasting of several wines. We'll take you behing the scenes in the winemaking rooms and the underground aging rooms to explain you everything about Provence wines.

Both wineries are organic: one is a jewel of the Côteaux d'Aix wine region, with wines highly rated by specialists. The other one is a confidential winery, but well worth to be discovered!

Stefan was our host. He was very knowledgeable, and also passionate about wine. He was also a great host and very good company! I have been on a few wine tours, and this was definitely one of the better ones. Highly recommend

Our tour guide, Eric really knows well about wines. He answered kindly to all our questions and we did learn a lot about this regions wine. Good experience! Recommended for both wine gurus and newbies.

Great wine tour! Stephen was really knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole tour and had a lot of wine for us to try. He even took us to a Poppy flower field on our drive back to the city! Also, our group really got along, it was wonderful connecting with people from other countries.

I took this tour as a solo traveller and ended up having the best time and walked away with a group of internationally diverse friends I later spent more time with. Wine is a great ice breaker! The tour itself visits 2 wineries and tours the facilities to get a better understanding of the process before The Tastings. I would recommend to all as part of the Aix region experience.

This is a great experience if you want to try a wine tour with brilliant local wine knowledge but without any of the overloading wine jargon! We learned a lot, it was relaxed and wines were delicious. My friend had never been on a wine tour before and it was her favourite part of the trip. Only note is maybe bring a snack and some water for the journey in between vineyards as we got a little peckish.

It was a relatively interesting trip and I did learn about wine-making. However, most of the time was spent in the car in silence. The wines we tasted were ok but nothing that I wanted to buy. I’m pretty sure that a quick read of Wikipedia and driving ourselves to the vineyards would have been a cheaper way to get a similar experience.
