What you'll do

The visit takes place on the farm through a walking tour, we will start by explaining the environment: situation, characteristics, geology, etc.
Then we will visit megalithic, ethnological, landscape, fauna and flora elements, all accompanied by explanations and with the help of explanatory sheets -graphics, photos- that will help us understand what we see.
We will know what life was like in a natural environment where people have lived and worked to survive with hardness and at the same time with placidity and happiness, where the media were scarce and human intelligence was the main tool to survive.
We will also have the chance to see, touch, smell, even taste elements of nature such as plants, fruits, berries, see animals in their natural environment, see the kite fly, run rabbits and hares, see turtles, and even witness natural elements unique and protected as endemic plants, amphibians, crustaceans, ...
The visit can last between 1 hour and 4 hours, depending on the availability and predisposition to deepen in the elements that are visited, as well as the number of elements that you want to visit.
Other things to note
From May to October, the best time to visit is in the afternoon when the sun begins to fall, or in the morning before the sun is hot.
The rest of the year there is no problem.

I have been working for more than 20 years and discovering in this wonderful natural space what for centuries or millennia other people have been doing to survive with their effort and intelligence in a harsh environment and at the same time pleasant and peaceful. Spaces protected by the European Union (LIC ES5310037) for being unique in the world for its flora and fauna, megalithic, ethnological elements, unique flora and fauna give this environment exclusive properties and provide an experience that will last over time.

Jaume is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I wasn't sure what to expect with this particular experience, and I was blown away with how much research Jaume had done and how much there was to see on the finca. I highly recommend this experience if you're interested in ethnology and history.

Wonderful experience! Jaume is a knowledgeable, considered and thoughtful host for this unique, relaxed and eye opening tour of Mallorca countryside practices, architecture and ways of living. So much wisdom on one finca! Would recommend to those looking to ‘go behind’ the standard Mallorca attractions and go into something much more meaningful. Thanks!

Jaume gives an excellent and unique tour with insight and information about the First People and early life on Majorca. He includes visual aids that help with understanding and fleshing out the concepts, botany and history that he is relating. His manner is friendly, scholarly and quietly passionate. He even fed us some traditional food! The archeological sites we visited were fascinating! We were totally mesmerized and thoroughly engaged! We highly recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in the prehistory, and life of the common person of Mallorca! To people who want more than the basic tourist experience! (Jaume also recommended a visit to the Sanctuario de Cuna afterwards, which gave an incredible view of Majorca.)

Jaume knows everything about the history of Majorca and its inhabitants. He was excellently prepared. On boards I could get a lot more information about the plants and structures. On the site there are still many projects that Jaume wants to restore. We were on the road for hours and every minute was interesting for me. I'm looking forward to see you again, at springtime next year!

Jaume is a wonderful historian and provides an important service that all visitors to Majorca should experience. He tells the social and natural history of the island, and the ways they are connected. I loved hearing about the place we were visiting, and you can tell that Jaume’s work, which is a full time hobby on top of his day job, is one of passion and stewardship. We were staying close to the finca, so Jaume was kind enough to pick us up. He was prepared with stories and visuals, and the visuals were in Spanish, English, French and German. I would highly recommend this tour, which is more than worth its paid value. Thank you, Jaume, for the tour, and the invaluable work you are doing!
