What you'll do
Hop on the RER B and come with me to explore the Parisian countryside .
You could discover farms, mills, charming villages, beautiful landscapes, castles, gardens, and famous people who lived here. From Roman time to 20th Century, the Chevreuse Valley reveals its beautiful countryside and rich heritage.
Whether you are looking for a gentle ramble or a long hike, there are many paths to explore. And for a spot of culture, you can also walk in the footsteps of Jean Racine, Elsa Triolet or Aragon.
But first, we’ll take our lunch, and I will bring you a selection of local and homemade food and drinks.
Here in the Chevreuse Valley, we pride ourselves on the quality of locally produced food. You will try freshly baked baguette, delicious honey, cheese made with unpasteurized milk, old-time apple varieties, handmade biscuits and cordials.
If you take life’s pleasures seriously, you’ll feel right at home !
After our lunch, we’ll start our journey through the park to the first outstanding place, depending of what you want to explore.
At the end of the afternoon, we’ll stop for a point of view of the Chevreuse Valley, and we’ll then take a drink to my favourite place.
Other things to note
Weather and site openings can influence our journey. If you have any requirements, please let me know as soon as possible so I can adapt the schedule.
I speak French and English but I'm not a guide.

I was born and grew up in the beautiful « Vallée de Chevreuse » (Chevreuse Valley), one of the most beautiful natural park around Paris.
I just love this area as there is so much to discover here.
I’m also an adventurer who like traveling, learning and discovering new things. I spent 2 years abroad (United-Kingdom), met wonderful people who helped me to think out the box and to get off the beaten track. During my free time I hosted cooking classes and promoted British and French food. I’m a foodie and a travel-addict, I can’t help it.

Marine is a wonderful host. She is very thoughtful and planned an excellent picnic with food items from the area. I was initially attracted to this experience because it is something a little different. I never heard of this area before and it was wonderful. If you want to see something a little bit off the beaten path, then this is for you.

Marine, thank you for the brilliant day and for showing us places we wouldn't have seen with any other tours. I enjoyed the laid back, slower paced day. It was relaxing and we could really enjoy the simple pleasures of life - great food and lovely countryside views! That cordial shop at the end was a great way to end with a delicious and refreshing drink. Marine, you had a great way of making our small group feel happy and relaxed. It was like spending a day with friends and we even managed to meet up the next night for dinner. Thanks again for the unique experience.

My travel partner and I had a great time eating, drinking, and exploring with Marine. Her personality is warm and she has an amazing passion for the area and it’s hidden treasures. We tasted amazing cheese, saw amazing views of gardens and chateaus, and learned a bit about food and drink culture in France. Not to mention, we were lucky to meet some amazing friends who had also booked the experience, and even got dinner with them later. All in all, great experience and phenomenal host. 10/10
