What you'll do

The perfect way to discover the NZ forest during this relaxing nature immersion experience.

Please note, I take a minimum of two participants, if you are a solo traveler, please book and if we don't get any other bookings you have the option to cancel free of charge or pay for two places and receive a personal experience!

We will meet on the steps of the Auckland Museum, with fantastic ocean views out to the Auckland Harbour and Hauraki Gulf. We will introduce each other and I will discuss the history of this beautiful park - one of Auckland's extinct volcanos and a Maori living and hunting ground.

Next we will walk further into the park and begin with a nature meditation designed to connect and open you to the magic of nature. A delightful stream and waterfall meet us on our journey.

I will walk you through a series of gentle sensory invitations, designed to open you to the beauty and magic of nature. We will smell, touch, breathe, experience, gaze at and get to know the beings that live in this special place.

We will finish the experience with an informal tea ceremony with native herb tea and snacks.

Where you'll be

We will be discovering the Auckland Domains beautiful bush tracks - wonderful examples of New Zealand bush right in the heart of the city. I love it here because even though the city is so close it feels like a world away - there is even a stream and waterfall! The Auckland Museum is located in this park and so you can visit it before or after this experience.

Magical time in Native NZ forest, grounding, calming, healing. Hannah is kind, sensitive and an insightful guide. You will leave with new appreciation of the essence of the forest and ways to relate to it. Have already recommended to a number of others staying in Auckland.

Hannah emphasised the value and importance of using all our senses to appreciate the forest environment and its importance in the health of the planet. Her methods enabled us to concentrate on nature thus suppressing other random thoughts of irrelevence.

Hannah was so kind and knowledgable about the topic. She definitely opened my eyes to experiencing the outdoors in a whole new way. As someone who has a very hard time being still, I really appreciated the time to center myself.
