Since 1986 Friday is our wineday!
Every Friday 10am we (the Waspi's) open the big wooden door of our Fattoria to invite you for an informal tour of the farm.
We'll start with some history of the farm by the garden terrace and the chapel, then we will continue with the agricultural part visiting the closeby vineyard, olivegrove and cellars.
Last but not least we will try some wine and oil by the entrance.
-Please note that the tour is open to the guests of our agriturismo as well-
Sometimes we will be more than 10 people, especially from June to September. We do not have a time schedule, the tour usually takes 1,5 hours but sometimes it's longer, depends on how many languages we're doing it and how many questions you have (sometimes they're a LOT!).
If you are looking for a more private tour, we do that as well, here is the link: https://www.airbnb.it/experiences/136578.
Please check the location of the experience before booking. We are located in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, mid way between Florence and Siena.
If you change plans cancel the experience on Airbnb so that other people are able to join us.
If you change plans at the last moment, please be respectful of me and the other guests who are waiting for you and write a message or call me to cancel.
Thank you, looking forward to meeting you!
Other things to note
You can reach us by bus line 370a Florence-Poggibonsi, the ride takes 45min-1h. This is the schedule and YouTube video : http://www.acvbus.it/orari/368-370.pdf

Jara is the sweetest! She is very smart and was able to hold the tour in 3 different languages at once. (English, Spanish, and Italian). She is a natural at explaining every step of how her and her family make their delicious wine. 10/10 recommend this experiencia. We will definitely be returning!

We had a great time with Jara, she’s super knowledgeable about her family’s vineyard history and how everything operates. The view at the vineyard is breath-taking and the view is phenomenal, I really had an amazing time learning about wine making and the history of Tuscany. Would definitely recommend to anyone who visits Florence :)

Jara was a very lovely host, although young, she really knew what she was talking about and had a real passion for the family business. She made us feel very welcome, and although it is late in the year so was no fruit, her description was good enough for us to know what it would look like and how it would operate. Had a really lovely time and fully recommend

An absolutely wonderful experience! The villa is gorgeous, and the view from the terrace is stunning. Jara is incredibly welcoming and very knowledgeable of the history of the grounds, the process of making both wine and olive oil, and the care of the fields themselves. This was definitely a highlight of my trip to Florence, and I learned so much in the process. The chance to taste a selection of their fantastic wine and olive oil at the end made it even more amazing. Highly recommended!
