What you'll do
Football (soccer) is an integral part of Argentine identity, so when visiting Buenos Aires, you cannot miss the oppotunity to see the two most important Buenos Aires' football stadiums.
First, we head towards the emblematic neighborhood of La Boca to enter the Boca Juniors stadium known as La Bombonera.
Inside the stadium, you will be able to visit the preferential stands, the popular sector and the team's locker room and even take photos on the playing field.
Then we will visit the Passion of Boca Juniors Museum and its trophy room, learning about the history of the club and the evolution of its jersey along the way.
After having had time to eat something, we are going to head north of the city to reach the neighborhood of Núñez where El Monumental, the home stadium of River Plate, is located.
Explore the training field, the press conference room, the trophy hall and other areas normally closed to the public.
Finally, we will visit the River Plate Museum where you will learn about the history of the team and the stadium.

It’s terrific having the behind-the-scenes tours be hosted with a super comfy shuttle bus, since the stadiums are very far apart. Our guide, Rosario, and the driver were very welcoming. The background tours were done by enthusiastic stadium staffers, and Rosario interpreted when needed, and was a terrific facilitator - friendly and thoughtful.

Great tour for any football (soccer) fan! I had the opportunity to visit Barca's stadium years ago and didn't go. Now that I've gotten more into MLS and our national teams here in the US, I will always visit any stadium abroad whenever I get the chance. If you love 'the beautiful game' this is a must-see tour! The Argentine passion for football is palpable.
