What you'll do
After saying hello I’ll go over the hobie kayak with you. I love hobies because you peddle not paddle. It’s much easier and it leaves your hands free. I’ll show you how to operate it safely. We will go over safety and you can tell me about any concerns you may have. We will get your seats adjusted. Then we can look over and talk about the days plan. Then we go. In minutes youll be used to it. I take out many people and everyone loves it right away. There is no learning curve.

I was a life guard earlier in my life. I’m in two kayak clubs and go four times awk for years. I love this area so much and I want to pass on that pssion and love. I see dolphins 90 percent of the time. I know where spoon bills and heron are most of the time. If you don’t like deep water I can keep us in waist deep water most or all of the day or we can venture into the gulf. I see manatees , pelicans and heron every time out. Being on the water early before most boats is a special time. I’d love to show you this wonderful blessed area
Where you'll be
We will access right into the bay by new pass ,an area alive with wild life then go past lovers key state park.

Todd was AWESOME! Sometimes I am skeptical of amazing reviews, but in this case all the reviews are true. Todd is a wonderful, kind, warm person who shared his love of this area with us via kayak! We saw lots of dolphins, amazing birds, a turtle and more. We learned about the mangroves, saw "Pelican Island", and really enjoyed ourselves. It was much better than renting kayaks and going ourselves, as we learned about the area and chatted with a super friendly guy! We also loved that Todd was taking lots of photos, as I didn't have to distract myself with my own camera looking for the "perfect shot". I knew Todd was taking care of that for me. Thanks Todd! We'll certainly recommend this tour.

Wonderful way to see the wildlife in Estero Bay. Todd met us promptly at 8 am and had the kayaks ready to go. After a demonstration on how to use the pedal kayak off we went. We saw egrets, herons and ospreys everywhere. We paddled through mangroves. The highlight was peddling with a pod of Manatees that were very interested in us. They poked their heads out of the water a foot away. We weren't lucky enough to see dolphins. Wonderful experience.

I have lived, and traveled, all over the world. As a result, I have been on lots of different types of tours, and had a wide variety of travel experiences, throughout North America, Africa, Europe, and Latin America. And hands down, the kayak tour of Estero Bay with Todd is one of the best travel experiences I have ever had! Todd knows the Bay like the back of his hand -- he kayaks there regularly, and you can tell that he really loves the ecosystem. He knows all the seasonal and daily habits of the birds, dolphins, manatees, and, importantly -- the boaters and jet skiers. Todd is intimately familiar with the tides and currents. As a result, you get a safe, fun, and unbelievable tour of a gorgeous ecosystem, with a very high likelihood of seeing lots of interesting birds and sea mammals. Todd is incredibly friendly, tells great stories, and is really fun to spend 3 hours with on the water. He takes a camera with him out on the water to get photographs of the animals and the environment, so you don't have to worry about fumbling with a cell phone or your own equipment, unless you are a photographer and like to get your own shots. If that is the case, then the Hobie kayaks are terrific -- they are extremely stable, very easy to navigate, and you are HANDS FREE the majority of the time. Todd's communication is terrific, from the moment you book until afterwards, when he sends you some of the pictures that he took while you are on the water. Fantastic! One word of advice for Northerners -- do not underestimate how strong the Florida sun is, especially out on the water. Wear SPF clothing or be prepared to really slather on the sunscreen (as high a rating as possible), and to also cover up as much as possible during the tour. Wear a big hat, sunglasses, and bandanna for your neck, if possible. Todd is Southwest Florida's best kept secret -- book this tour, you won't be sorry!. Worth every penny!

Todd was such an incredible host! Friendly, welcoming and very informative. He explained areas of where manatees and dolphins would typically be sighted, including personal experiences of his own interactions. Todd also had quite a bit of knowledge about the local bird habitats. He was very flexible with how long we would sit and view an area, without rushing us to move to the next spot. One of the other favorite parts about the trip was the Hobie Kayak. You use your feet to paddle rather than your arms, which is nice so you don’t over exert yourself in the Florida sun! Not only do you have your hands free, but Todd also does take pictures of your experience sighting the wildlife so you don’t have to take your personal phone or camera with you. One thing to note...you may get a little wet during the experience, so bring a towel to sit on afterwards. Highly recommended, even to locals. You’ll definitely share some laughs with Todd and make some good memories!

Awesome experience! Todd was happy, friendly, and communication was great ahead of time. We knew exactly where to go and he was there waiting for us to take us out. He explained everything in a easy to understand way and within a few minutes we were out cruising on the water. We had super close interactions with manatees, dolphins, pelicans, and all sorts of birds and fish. Todd knew all the good spots and gave us some info on the wildlife we were seeing. Worth every penny and a really wonderful way to see another part of Florida you might not normally experience! We will definitely be contacting Todd in the future for more trips on the water!
