What you'll do

We'll meet at the meeting point where I'll order a car to go to the forest.
In the forest we'll do horseback riding, 30 minutes to get in and enjoy nature and 30 minutes to go back to the walking area.
We'll go walking to a japanese garden where you'll find squirrels, fishes, this place is perfect for taking pictures because this garden is so beautiful.
Then we are going to walk around a castle and to a small lake where you can feed the ducks and turtles.
Then we'll find our way out the park to walk a bit more by the streets (10 minutes) to one famous restaurant in the city with some of the most delicious Tortas ahogadas, you can choose the meet you want in it (chicken, pork or shrimp) and I'll teach you how to prepare your own.
After, we'll finish by going back to the meeting point.
Other things to note
*Sunblock and insect repellent are up to you, we are visiting a natural place so it is common to find some insects as mosquitos.
*Horse back riding is not recomended for people with back injury.
*If you have any doubt (size group, time, etc) Jusk ask me.

During the week I am a graphic designer but weekends I become a forest guide. Usually I go to differents woods in the country to teach people the importance of the woods for human life. For this experience I'll take you to one small forest in the middle of the city where I grew up.

Where you'll be

First, we are going to go to Colomos Forest.
This forest is not so common among tourist beacuse is not in the historical center where everybody goes. Still, this place is inside the city.
After, we are going to eat to Tortas Toño, a restaurant of Tortas, a tradicional dish of the city.

Some of the horses were challenging to work with and at times felt slightly out of control. Other than that, it was a fine way to spend the day.

This is a great way to get out of the city a bit and enjoy this beautiful park while on horseback. Omar was really friendly and looked after us well.

It was a great chance to break away from the hot city to get to ride horses in the forest. All whilst being close to downtown. It is a great experience for beginners and experienced riders and fun to walk through the creeks. After Omar took us for a walk through the Japanese Gardens and this allowed us to see the wildlife and enjoy the scenery.
