Bring your enduro, or downhill bike with you, so that I can take you down to the places

If you're in Korea, and even considering to go mountain biking, I would strongly recommend Kemp, no matter your skill level! He tailored my skill level to exactly what I was looking for and picked all of the best places. He even brought some friends along to get a sense of community and all of them were very welcoming and amazing to ride with! Kemp was helpful with everything; from getting to Seoul, getting equipment, riding advice, and most importantly, helping me order food in Korean. Basically it was the dopest dope, so if you have every thought about mountain biking or are already a rider in Korea you won't go wrong if you go with Kemp. 5/5 would recommend on Yelp and here on Air B&B.

I'll try to keep this short but there's a lot of good to be said. The host, Kemp is always on point. Even before I booked the experience he was quick and responsive by messaging and continued throughout, always providing solutions like how to take my bike on KoRail or helping me with storage when my hostel didn't allow my bike inside. You would be hard pressed to find someone as knowledgeable about MTB in Korea as Kemp, who has been in the sport since full suspension bikes came to this country. He introduced me to a community of skilled bikers that welcomed me openly. Kemp matched my riding skill to the trails he knows (you couldn't do all of them in one day) and really encouraged me to do well. The whole experience was completely tailored for me on a deep level. Zero complaints. The title is completely accurate. This is exactly what you would want if you showed up in a new country and wanted to ride. What a great guy. This cant be understated. It felt like I met up with a riding buddy that knows all the ins and outs of riding, and not some tour guide with a cookie cutter attitude about his job that can't keep up or show someone the real trails Seoul has to offer. That's what is important to me. Best Airbnb experience I've had. Beginner to the sport, or expert trying to scope out the best places to ride.. This is for you.

Kemp is an amazing person and very knowledgeable about MTB, especially in South Korea and its trails. His English is very good! He's a native to the area so of course no problems there. He's somewhat of a pioneer actually in the sport, has been riding for decades, he knows everything you need to know about MTB in ROK. What makes him different? This is an MTB experience so as a host he will make sure you are safe, know where to go on the trails, gives pointers on riding and how to improve. For me I specifically asked for single track riding and I definitely got that. I really enjoyed riding all of it, some of the climbs were tough, but I'm used to riding road bikes! Aside from the MTB stuff, I like Kemp as a person, seems very grounded, will make sure you are good to go for the ride. So in the end, if you want to ride MTB, connect with the culture, get some thrill on two wheels, and see some pretty sights, go ahead and book this! Make sure you ask him about his awesome E-bike, maybe ask for a restaurant recommendation, and bring some made in the USA mountain dew for him and he will be grateful for that token!
