What you'll do

Let’s go for a bike ride to enjoy the most interesting places in Mexico City! Get to know the art, architecture, food and nature we have in the city. Enjoy riding bicycles and learning about the history, culture, gastronomy and life in Mexico City. We will go through safe streets and most of the time we ride on bicycle lanes. During the guided tour, we are going to see places with history and culture and eat authentic Mexican food as we ride along Chapultepec urban forest, a nature relict in the city. During the guided tour, we use Mexico City's government ECOBICI bicycle share network with more than 250 stations and 6,000 bicycles available to get or share a bike safely. By using these bicycles you get insurance as well. I will help you hire your bike online from your mobile or directly in a nearby bicycle station. We bike on flat and safe areas to have an incredible day. Let's meet places where just bicycles can go and improve your cardiovascular health in a 15 kilometers bike ride across the city's main areas
Other things to note
It is better to ride the bicycles with comfortable clothing. Using helmet is not compulsory in Mexico City but if you would like a helmet please let me know in advance. Rain coats ok to bring

I am a local from Mexico City. I often use the network of shared bicycles in Mexico City to get from one place to another in the main areas of the city. From the last five years, I run a training program for nature-based tour guides on the Caribbean side of the country, with the conservation NGO that I co-founded a few years ago. So I travel to Playa del Carmen from time to time. I also lived a few years in Australia, while doing my PhD in tourism.

Sustainable experiences is what I like to promote. I want to show visitors how they help when they go through this experience while enjoying cycling around the city.

Where you'll be

Besides riding bicycles along the way, we will see murals painted by famous muralists like Diego Rivera as these buildings have an interesting architecture and were chosen by these artists to perform their artwork including the Fine Arts and National Palace. We then bike towards Chapultepec forest and get something nice to eat and drink on the way. We will visit the Anthropology and History Museum which is the main museum we have in the country

My experience with Adrian was awesome. I was the only person he had scheduled for the day so we had an easy going one-on-one trip. He offered me great insights into the history of the city, the rules of the road, and countless other things that showed how much he cared about the present day city as well as its Mesoamerican roots. The route we took was well organized and we covered a ton of ground around the city while stopping to observe some of its famous attractions. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants a great introduction to the city while getting in some quality exercise.

Adrian es muy atento y empático, nos llevó a lugares espectaculares, por ejemplo a almorzar en "la Banca" unos tacos súper deliciosos. Hicimos un buen ejercicio con la bicicleta conociendo la Ciudad de México.

I did this bike tour as an introduction to CDMX on the first day we arrived and it was a perfect way to see the city and actually take time to visit some of the major museums and sights. Adrian is laidback and has a gentle spirit which made it great to spend the day with him. The tour was well-paced with frequent stops and he was happy to modify the schedule if there was something we wanted to see or conversely, if we didn’t want to spend too much time at certain places. It felt like spending the day with a local friend rather than a guide. Many thanks to Adrian!

I wish I could rate this 7 stars. This was such a wonderful experience. I wish we had this experience in the beginning of our trip. It was so cool to ride the bike and explore the city. I was really impressed with how Adrian tried to understand what we already knew and spent time to focus on places and areas that would add to our knowledge and experience. Thank you for this!

Adrian was a gracious, knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic guide for our bicycle tour of Mexico City. He showed us how to rent public bikes, led us safely on busy roads and quiet parks and introduced us to his favorite taco stands and churro vendors. Fantastic day. Highly recommend him.
