My husband and I and our three boys absolutely loved this hike. Kitty was fantastic in every way. So nice and shared his local knowledge in a way that made us want to listen and learn. The hike was challenging but just enough, not too much. We would follow him on any hike!

Kitty was a phenomenal guide on our hike. The hike itself had beautiful views and he planned some stops along the way that allowed us to take it all in. He had a deep knowledge of the area being a local and was able to give us insight and some history about the places we came across on our hike. It was very easy to talk to him and made it a personable experience rather than a regular tourist experience. Kitty is a very down to earth guy and showed us a great time on our honeymoon.

Kitty was an excellent guide for my families hike up Shirley Canyon. He was patient and encouraging and interacted positively with me, my eleven year old daughter as well as my wife who struggled through much of the hike. We could not have completed the hike without his knowledge and positive attitude.

Kitty was very kind and accommodating, and is a wealth of knowledge about Tahoe. He not only took me on a beautiful hike, but gave me tips on other trails and things to do/see in the area. I especially liked hearing about the different plants and animals along the trail. He is truly a man of the mountains!

Kitty was great! He was very knowledgeable about the trails and shared many personal experiences. He was mindful of how we were doing along and we knew we were in good hands. He even gave us recommendations for local trails and eateries we could hit up on our way back. 10/10 recommend.
