What you'll do

At the beginning we'll meet at 'EEYAN information cafe' and have Japanese lesson for 1 hour to 1 and half hour. We'll start with self introduction in Japanese and then we'll practice some greeting words, such as 'Arigato(Thank you)' 'Sumimasen(Excuse me/I'm sorry)' etc... Then step up to next level 'phrases frequently used for shopping / restaurant' such as 'Ikura desuka?(How much?''~ wa doko desuka?(Where is ~?)' etc... After the lesson we'll leave for local food hopping tour! We'll visit Kuromon fish market nearby EEYAN cafe first. And then walk through 'Doguyasuji' Kitchen tool street, Nanba Yasaka shrine, Sennichimae shopping street, Hozen ji street etc... I'll pick up some local street food s on the way, you can fill up your stomach with 1000 yen! (You can trust my recommendations, I was born and raised in Osaka, 100% Osaka local!haha) ★1000 yen is included in the tour fee.★ I'll give you 1000 yen cash when we leave for the tour so you can use any places you want on the tour;-) BUT don't forget to use Japanese as much as you can when you do shopping!;-P We'll also drop by some other local places like game center nearby if we have time. We'll finish the tour somewhere in Dotonbori. I hope everyone who joined my tour will be interested in Japanese language! Please don't hesitate to use Japanese and enjoy communication with locals! ※I have another walking tour in Tenjinbashisuji shopping street, if you prefer more local I recommend this tour;-) 【Survival Japanese lesson in the park!】☟ https://www.airbnb.jp/experiences/631571 ※If you prefer private tour, please check this! 【EAT&DRINK+Practice Survival Japanese!】☟ https://www.airbnb.jp/experiences/498155

Yuko

Hello, I'm Yuko! Thank you very much for being interested in my experience tour! I studied Japanese language education to foreigner at university and passed the exam. After graduation I started working as a Japanese teacher in China. I've been interested in international exchange and a job where I get to interact with others, so I think this teaching Japanese job is my ideal job;-) And also there's another thing which I really like to do, which is to communicate with travelers. I've lived in Taiwan for 1 year with working holidays visa. I stayed and worked at a hostel. I really enjoyed the life there, it was a lot of fun to meet travelers from all over the world and talked with them in English and Chinese;-) And I just became a traveling lover, now can't stop traveling, haha After I come back to Osaka, I started working at the EEYAN tourist information cafe. At the same time I started thinking like I want to help travelers who are visiting Osaka personally, not as a company business. This is the beginning of my Airbnb experience. Now I'm a freelance Japanese teacher, also doing web writing and private tour guide in Osaka. I've started this Airbnb experience since 2018, Sep. And I've met a lot of guests from all over the world! Always I have good time with my lovely guests♡ I hope every travelers even who don't speak Japanese at all can enjoy communication with locals and make unforgettable memories in Osaka!

Where you'll be

The meeting place 'EEYAN information cafe' is where I used to work. They are very helpful for travelers, not only traveling tips but they have luggage deposit service and resting space as well. We'll use this cafe space for the Japanese lesson, it takes about 1 hour to 1 and half hour. And then we'll explore Kuromon fish market nearby and get some street foods in Nanba area. We'll also visit some sightseeing spots nearby such as Doguya-suji street, Nanba Yasaka shrine, Hozenji yokocho street etc... The tour will be finished somewhere in Dotonbori area. It takes about 3 and a half hours including Japanese lesson.
