What you'll do

Meet at Cortland Preschool and tour three urban garden sites that are delicious, creative, and child-friendly. We will explore materials inside and outside of the preschool, including natural materials, nature-inspired books, and nature-inspired toys and supplements. Learn and share about progressive education, urban gardening, and gardening for/with children--this is a great experience for grandparents, parents, gardeners, educators, and nature-based or Reggio Emilia approach enthusiasts! We will conclude our day with hot herbal tea and slice of pie from the local pie shop. Experiences can happen throughout the year, regardless of weather.
Other things to note
We will walk short distances and be indoors and out, despite weather. You are welcomed to take photos of the gardens and materials. This experience workshop is for adults only.
