ARE YOU UP FOR THE CHALLENGE?

-Places: Pay attention because I will show where to find Lima’s heart and soul. The places will visit are hidden gems known only by truly limeños.

-Food: We will walk to the most traditional food stops that offer delicious local treats.

-Markets: If you wanna shop until you drop let me know! We can add a stop and visit the artisans market.

-Tourism: I will guide you through my city walking around non-touristy areas and telling you real stories about each place.

This tour was great! We saw murals and had a lot of fun walking around the city. Alex took us to places he could tell we would be interested in and he was right :) it was super fun to hangout for the day.

Alejandro was friendly knowledgeable and full of passion and energy. He packed in the knowledge and helped us get a solid footing of what lima has to offer. I have a new friend in Lima and he has a friend in me.

The tour was everything that I hoped for. Seldom do tours meet my expectations, but this one did. Very friendly. Made a special effort to personalize the tour for my wishes. Alejandro also taught me how to use the Lima bus system (which is a big deal to a person that does not speak the native language). i am an old fat man, and Alejandro wore me out on the tour. I mean this in a truly positive way - I was very pleased. We covered a lot of ground and saw a lot of things. Alejandro paced it perfectly for me and showed me the areas of the most interest to me. (He even ran the tour a little long, and it was appreciated). If you are an old fat man too, one word of warning. Be careful of whether you ask to go down on the Barranca beach. It is a LONG way back up those stairs.

This experience is truly a must. I feel we really got to know Lima from a lock perspective. I would recommend this tour on the first day of your travel. It was very helpful to learn how to use local transportation! Saved us an hour in traffic getting from Plaza Central to Miraflores!
