Learn what makes Malaysian cuisine so tasty and rich in flavours.
It's an enjoyable culinary activity - fast, simple, unique and short cooking course.
We’ll start with a little food history of Malaysia's multi culture and lifestyle. Then we'll move on to the food preparation and blending of the spices.
You will cook in our 130 year old traditional style Dutch built house kitchen, located in the heart of UNESCO Melaka Word Heritage City. This is an original cooking experience in a local's house !
The compete culinary activity takes about 3 hours, after cooking everyone will have a sit down and enjoy the meal together.

It was a lovely evening learning how to cook with Teena, the dish tasted fantastic and we also got to make our own Sambal from scratch! It was great meeting other travellers as well... would definitely come back for another class next time we are here in Malacca. Thank you!

The cooking class was a lot of fun and a great experience. It was more so a cooking demonstration as most of the prep work and cooking was done by Teena, however it was a very pleasant evening and learned how to make a delicious curry

We absolutely loved this experience- Teena and Lee have such warm and unique personalities it felt like we were dining in the home of old friends. We laughed so much with the group and of course the food was delicious too I especially loved the fried tempeh ! Thank you so much Teena!

As a cooking demonstration of traditional Malaysian cooking it was good with a variety of dishes prepared and eaten. We were expecting more participation as we have experienced in the past on other cooking experiences and so were left disappointed that we were only able to perform mundane tasks.

It was simply amazing!! Teena made this experience unforgettable. She organized the cooking class in a professional and fun way at the same time. I learnt a lot and the food we prepared was fantastic! Then we had the dinner all together and we made also new friends. Highly recommended! Thanks Teena and Lee!!
