We've been mushing and bringing people out dogsledding for over a decade here on our 425 private wilderness conservation acreage on the Amable du Fond River. You will love the quiet beauty of the forest as the dogs show you around this winter wonderland! My embrace of sled dogs and mushing dates back to growing up in northern Ontario. I've always had a great appreciation for northern Canadian landscapes, winter and working dogs. I have a masters in forest conservation and work as a wolf research biologist in the area. The dogs and I look forward to welcoming you on this wonderful adventure!

Fantastic Canadian winter experience in magical and breathtaking scenery. Rosanne was a great host, very welcoming and provided us with thoughtful and delicious snacks after a long day out. The dogs were amazing, and very friendly, such a joy to meet them all and get to spend some time outside with all of them. Highly recommended if you are ever up this way!

What a day! if you are looking for a winter activity this is it. We spent 5 hours outdoors in the company of 22 dogs, 5 llama, and host like no other. Rosanne is such a kind soul. She made the experience even better. We hiked to a waterfall, ate a warm lunch and then learned how to dog sled on her gorgeous property. The sun and snow against a green tree background was breathtaking enough - then add the excitement of 22 beautiful dogs, each with their own personality. We were even taught how to harness them to the sleigh! What a great experience!

Rosanne is a fantastic host that caters to her guests, making them feel extra special. She is warm and welcoming and so are her beautiful dogs. She is a patient teacher and makes you feel at ease while learning a new experience. The full experience includes hiking (with the view of Eau Claire falls) dogsledding on her stunning property and lakes, many opportunities for pictures and videos and a delicious hot lunch. Rosanne, we will recommend this experience to our friends and family. Thank you for a top notch experience! We can’t wait to return in the summer :)

We didn't know what to expect when we booked this experience, but it exceeded all expectations! We started the trip with a walk to some scenic waterfalls, where Rosanne described some unique features of the land. We followed that up with some delicious lunch. We then harnessed up the dogs and each of us got to lead our own dogsled. She led us through some beautiful trails and we then helped unharness the dogs. This was a fun experience, and an unexpected workout! We loved hanging out with the well-trained dogs and would definitely do this is experience again. Highly recommend!
