What you'll do

Start this colorful afternoon from your hotel. First thing to do is drive to “El Callao”. Callao is a place full of art and history; Walk around old streets rejuvenated by colorful murals and urban art. After many pictures visit the “Fugaz” art gallery, where you will find different kinds of art expositions like photography, paintings, sculpture, etc.

Continuing with this cultural ride around Lima is time to take the highway next to the Pacific ocean and drive to Barranco. On the way we can share some stories from Peru and the city or maybe talk about any topic you are interested in. Barranco is one of the most colorful places in Lima and is known as the Bohemian district. Here we can capture different art expressions and enjoy one of the best views in Lima.

Also this section of the tour includes the visit to Jade Rivera exhibition. He is a muralist whose technique and style are determined by his personal experiences and his perspective of the environment in which he lives. Likewise, man's relationship with nature is another recurring motif in the artist's pieces.

After Barranco we will take you back to your hotel.

My first trip was only when I was 14 years old, my cousin ask me join him on a trek to the “Sierra de Lima”, from that day all in life was about traveling. I have had the good fortune to travel a lot throughout my dear Peru and other countries. I work in tourism since I am 21 years old and, I never thought that one of my passions would become my profession.

I like to listen and share stories. Along my life I traveled a lot and I would like to be a great host as the many that I had when I was traveling out my country.

It is hard to find words to describe how awesome this tour was! My family and I are world travelers and we’ve never had an experience like this. Our guide Choji knew everyone and everything! We learned so much about Peru from this tour. There was no stone unturned! Everything from food to immigration patterns and music were covered. He was so generous with his time and although we covered a lot of ground we never felt rushed. It was as if we were old friends. Amazing in every way! I highly recommend this tour.

We loved the Callao part of our tour although the local guide only spoke spanish... The Barranco section was not catered towards our private group and was very rushed...

ChoJi came in place of Cesar and was an amazing host. We learnt a lot from him not only about Callao and Barranco but also Peruvian and pre Incan history in general and most importantly, we left as friends. ChoJi went above and beyond and Even joined us for lunch after, taking time to introduce Peruvian food culture to us which was definitely not part of the tour! Brilliant all around!
