Where you'll be

My lovely studio is a brand new location in Aldea Zama, a wonderful neighbor hood in Tulum Town. I have a little exhibition of all of my art work as well. Very comfortable wooden table and cosy sits for a nice and enjoyable creative stay. Plus we do have air conditioning. We are located right behind the very well known restaurant called Chacabar. You can google it as "Laguna Collective the studio" and will give you the way to get here.

This event was as expected. Just a fun pottery making class. We did slab pottery. I believe you can decide if you want to do slab or coil. I would recommend contacting her to verify your spot. she over booked our class on airbnb and with through her website. Some people had to be moved up an hour or to another day. So it would be best to confirm with her. Overall it was fun and very relaxing. She had southing music playing in the background that really put you in a calm mood. I do recommend this experience! Just a note: You won't be able to take your pottery with you the same day. she has to let it dry for a few days, fire it in the kiln, and then send you a message to ship it.

She was very clear while guiding us through the activity and always help us and answered our questions. The experience was great, Karen offers a very authentic class rooted in tradition and is an excellent teacher. However in the experience description it was not made clear that we would need to pay shipping to get our pieces sent back home to us. I have not heard back from the host in several weeks about this, so I am doubtful about getting it back.
