I was born in Venezuela and lived there until I was 25. We eat arepas for breakfast every day of our lives, and sometimes for lunch or dinner when we want a fancy one at a restaurant. Arepas are made of corn, easy to grow in Venezuelan soil, unlike wheat, which requires a colder climate. You could say arepas are our daily bread.

Arepas are authentically delicious and easy to make. I love to see the face of anyone who tries them for the first time, and then when they learn they can make it at home. it will be my privilege to introduce you to this delicious food.
