What you'll do

We will meet at the gates of Hokaydo of the largest Japanese Garden outside of Japan.
We will walk through the Torii to the alley of Sakura, we will see the "tea house" and walk through the pond along the arched bridge to the waterfall. We go around the pond to the cages for fry breeding. You can buy special food for carps and feed them when we pass through the winding bridge over the pond. Carps are almost tame, you can even touch them.
Then on a bench in the shade or under a canopy, and we will get stones and boards for the game of Go. This is the oldest and deepest intellectual game, which many successful people respect - businessmen, politicians, scientists. The game appeared more than 4,000 years ago and is most common in China, Korea and Japan. In Japan, at the time of the Tokugawa shogunate, the State Academy of Go was established, and mastering the art of this game provided the person with the right to occupy government positions.
The rules of the Go are so simple, and the process is so fascinating that it is easy to lose the sense of time, enjoying the dramatprocess and taking pleasure in the wrestling of minds. We will play Go at least 1 hour and have a meal and tea.
Other things to note
Opening hours of the Japanese Garden is from 10 to 18 hrs, including holidays and weekends. It is forbidden to bring food, but you can take water. Exact time of our experience is to be set in advance.

Since childhood, I was interested in Japanese culture, like Japanese cuisine, aesthetics of Japanese art, I largely share the ideas of Zen, and more than 20 years I was studying martial arts... In 2000, I learned and loved the game of Go, also known as weiqi or baduk. I love Go for feeling of harmony and beauty of space solutions.
In 2006 I became interested in tango, which led me to Buenos Aires. And, of course, I could not miss to fall in love with the Japanese Garden. Now I live in Buenos Aires and will be glad to share my passion and respect for the game of Go and Japanese Arts with you!

Amazing experience! Highly recommended, you would be delighted I promise.

What a vast experience! The lenguage between me and Dmitry absolutely was not a problem. It was much better than what I expected, Go its much more than just a game and Dmitry help me to understand this. He teach me everything and after we played while we drink black pu-her tea. The Garden its awesome, it shows a lot of Japonese culture, and its beautiful too, maybe with to much tourists taking photos all the time haha. In the end of the experience i learned how to play go, the amazing philosophy behind the game and one friend to play go, Dmitry !
