I have over a decade of experience snowshoeing and guiding private tours all throughout the White Mountains. We have diverse wildlife here: The Great Snowy Owl often visits, along with deer, moose, coyote, snow shoe rabbits and other ground dwellers, lots of different animal tracks are likely to be observed along the way, as are a vast variety of birds.

This was so much fun! Easy enough for a beginner but fun enough for anyone. James knows a lot about the area, and the info he shares adds flavor to the trip. Nice trail, high quality equipment, and a friendly host. What more could you want?

The experience was great. It was 15-30 min up the hill, which took some effort. Once we were on the top we had some time to catch our breath and have some champagne. The way down was easier and took a bit longer. Thanks

Highly recommend this to anyone looking for an introduction to snowshoeing. James is a wonderful guide and has chosen one of, if not THE MOST BEAUTIFUL location to hike in all Maine. We had a mix of people from all different states in our group and we were all blown away with the beauty and felt motivated by the challenge. 10/10
