What you'll do

I will meet you at my house or come and meet you at your accomodation and take you to one of the many different local nature places on the doorstep of Berkhamsted.

Here I will go through the basics of your camera. Covering aperture, shutter speed, light and composition.

If you use a Canon camera which allows interchange of lenses, then you can use any one of my lenses I have with me.

We will then take a variety of photos on location with regular reviews with me giving advice on how to get the best out of your camera.

I will then drop you off at your accommodation.
Other things to note
Don’t forget your camera. That’s really important.

My name is Jon Russell. I have been taking photos for over 10 years. I am passionate about photography and love to teach people the basics of getting the best out of their camera. I am lucky to live on the door step of some of Britian’s most beautiful countryside. I look forward to hearing from you.

Jon was such a joy! He took time to teach me how to use my Canon and was patient with me when I asked questions. We had a lovely drive to some high points in the countryside and a beautiful local town. Besides the photography itself, Jon and I shared some similar life experiences which helped us to connect. I would definitely recommend this experience!!!!
