What you'll do
Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic system combining breathing, movement, stretching, postures, meditation, the use of sound and rhythm, relaxation and meditation, brought to North America by Yogi Bhajan in 1968, but has evolved over thousands of years, originating in India. As there are a wide variety of exercises and meditations utilized in Kundalini Yoga, it can be adapted to address many specific health applications, such as Alzheimer, menopause, addiction, etc.
A typical class is 90 minutes long and consists of:
- Tuning in with Adi Mantra
- Warm up/Pranayama
- Kriya/Yoga set, a sequence of postures for specific effects
- Savasana/Active relaxation (integration)
- Meditation
- Closing with Long Time Sun
- Prayer/Affirmation

This class is suitable for beginners or experienced students. We will start each class with a short introduction about the Kundalini Yoga.

Where you'll be
We will hold our Kundalini class in a special and unique shala, located in the heart of Ubud, Bali. Shala is situated in a small and cozy street, within walking distance from Ubud centre and all the main sights, attractions and activities.

Unfortunately, I think the experience is overpriced on Airbnb considering the fact that I did not receive anything else than regular participants that booked directly on location, which definitely paid way less for the lesson. I did not receive the tea nor did anyone tell me where to get drinking water.
All in all I felt a bit lost.
I did not feel comfortable during some exercises and would have wished for a more individual treatment.
If you are a regular practitioner of Kundalini, you might enjoy this activity much more than I did!
