What you'll do
After picking you up from an agreed upon location, we will go shopping for our dishes. After our fun time shopping, we will go back home to make our meals.
Wafa will tell you about the ingredients, and even about the history of the dish we'll be preparing.
Be prepared to muck in, because there's no better way to learn than by practicing, and we'll get to know each other even more while cooking!
You'll also get to learn how to make an authentic Moroccan mint tea, which can be refreshing in hot summer days, and warming in cold winter evenings.
Once ready, we'll sit around the table and enjoy our homemade meal while still talking about life, the weather, everything and nothing.
You'll experience the full process of meal making and have a taste at what it's like to be a guest of a Moroccan family.
Note: Meals range from the authentic Moroccan tajine, through the well-known couscous, and to the baked fish (and many more in between) and will vary by season and preference. Please let us know if you have any specific diet, allergies, or limitations.
Other things to note
Season-specific meals:
*Couscous - Saturdays-Sundays
*Boulfaf - Eid Al-Adha (August 12th-13th 2019)

Meet Wafa, the mother:
Wafa has not only been cooking for a big Moroccan family for ages, but also teaching the younger ones how to do it. She can cook any Moroccan dish to perfection, and many of our guests swear only by her dishes. She chooses only the freshest ingredients, and has that motherly secret to make any dish a masterpiece.
Meet Abdoulah, the son:
Abdoulah is a doctor with a passion for cooking. His mother taught him most of his cooking skills, which allowed him to live abroad and only rarely eat out. He will be providing transport and translation in English, and Russian.
