What you'll do

I will help you customize your stay in the Yucatan peninsula.
Did you know the Yucatan state is one of the few with its own flag? Do you know the political influence for being a culturally proud state?
Or are you curious about how hard Mayan language really is, or what can it tell you about ancient (and current) traditions, and way of seeing life and nature?

First, be part of a city cultural show. The show will be our perfect excuse to discover the ins and outs of the region. The show varies depending on the day: folk dancing, music, latin dancing, interactive museum, etc.

I know this region is very vast and sometimes it's hard to find what best suits you or creating the perfect mix of culture, spirituality, and nature.
From Mayan - Yucatecan - Mexican culture, connection to Mother Earth, living an ecotourism adventure or being part of a Mayan ceremony... I will give you unique tips and ideas to enjoy 3, 4, 8 or 20 days in Merida!

We will use the show as the basis to get you started in the local mood, then I will share great ideas, secret places or exclusive activities you'll love! I'll be happy to help you coordinate your future outings.
Live "the moment" and venture your way.

Looking for authentic experience? I moved to this magical region a few years ago to discover its most unique secrets... which I found in its legends, traditions, and contact with nature.

Relax and let me share the secrets to fully enjoy sacred places and local traditions.

I'm passionate about cross-cultural connections and languages; I have lived in several countries and traveled to quite a few more. After studying and immersing in Mayan villages, I can tell you, Maya is a real challenge. Living the Yucatecan way also is.
I'll share this and more

Where you'll be

Merida has been twice "American Capital of Culture"... the main reason is that aside from its museums and art galleries, there are plenty of events every day.
I'll be happy to join you on discovering one with a local perspective - the location will vary depending on the day you're coming, ask me and I'll let you know the alternatives.

Afterwards, I will share with you stories, and tips; which will be useful for the rest of your stay in Mexico!

Rosbel and Jerardo were super friendly and kind. We walked around Plaza Grande, Governor’s Palace, danced salsa in Mercado 60, Pasa de Montego & various parks. During this time I learned more about life in Merida and interesting things to do. Good & fun way to get to know Merida better
