What you'll do

Our tour kicks off at Union Station where we'll grab some bikes and head straight to the boat terminal for a quick cruise to the islands.

Once we arrive across the bay, we'll break off from the crowds and cycle to the far side of the islands most travellers miss. It's here where we'll leave our bikes and venture off by foot to experience the natural island charms I found as a kid.

We'll hike secret paths that lead through scenic lakeside forests and stroll along trails that hug sand dunes by the shore. It's during these moments with the views of the forests, beaches and lake where you'll feel like you've been plunged into a rustic Canadian wilderness many miles away.

To get a glimpse of the local island life, we'll ride through charming cottage neighbourhoods and stop by one of my favourite places on the island, a cozy lakeside café. Here, I'll share what it was like to spend summers on the island over a coffee - on me!

As twilight hits, we’ll bike along the beaches and lagoons that lead back to the boat. Before boarding, we'll visit a secluded island where we can enjoy views of the sunset by the lake away from the crowd
Other things to note
The bike paths and hiking trails are relatively flat and non strenuous.
Please wear proper shoes!
Tour runs everyday, rain or shine!

Where you'll be

We'll cycle the Toronto Islands and visit hidden gems often missed by the typical traveler. Together we'll explore scenic, off the beaten path places that are protected by the Toronto Conservation Authority. We'll experience marsh forests, sand dunes, secluded beaches, a "hidden" island and more! We will also visit some of the more frequented spots of the islands such as its neighborhoods, park gardens, boardwalk and a local cafe.
