What you'll do

Let's head to the Antwerp Red Light district: het Schipperskwartier. A neighborhood where nightlife and locals live together the A-typical way. But it is not just a guided tour. In this experience you are part of the history of the Port of Antwerp: A Portuguese Sailor, Napoleon Bonaparte, an obscure 'Baron' of the 19th century neighborhood of the old Castle en Butchers house, Madame Jammare, the lady of a stylish brothel.
You'll learn about our own 'Notre Dame' fire in the sixties and how students and shippers rescued paintings of our great masters as P.P. Rubens and Anthony Van Dyck.
Before heading in the red light district we'll have a beer in a real local pub, with locals, who will definitely welcome you with shiny eyes. No worries, they know me and only try to get a free beer.
And now it's time to learn about a proper visit t the Red Light District. We'll visit a peep show, or what's left of it and the 'Villa Tinto', a unique collaboration between the City council and local entrepreneurs in the business.
We end our tour on 'het Eilandje'. A hipster place with the finest bars and restaurants.
If you want, you can go and eat at Napo's, a perfect grill with a unique story of Tolerance.
Book now for a real Antwerp night walk in the Red Light district.
Other things to note
Antwerp is just the right size for a city trip. Most places are within walking distance. Our Red light District is one of the safest places in town. But that's not difficult as you will notice the city is very safe and tourist friendly.
