What you'll do

We can meet in the subway stations Eucaliptos (Line 5-Lilás) or Faria Lima (Line 4-Yellow), or, if the guest prefers, we can meet at Canto da Ema.
In Canto da Ema, we will have an hour of forró lessons with professional teachers.
Then we will drink Jurupinga, soft white wine, produced in São Paulo, and eat pastel, a tipical food invented by Chinese immigrants in the state of São Paulo.
Then, when the party starts, the guest will enjoy a live concert of a forró band, with the sound of much accordion, triangle and zabumba. The guest who is a man can practice with me what he learned in the dance class, and the guest who is a woman can practice with my boyfriend Edilson Souza.
We will stay at Canto da Ema until 2 or 3 in the morning.
During the night, we will talk about the life and customs of São Paulo and, in the end, the guest will get a souvenir. :)
To leave the night club, the guest can request an uber or taxi, with my help.
Other things to note
If there is heavy rain, we'll need to cancel the tour because there are areas with a risk of flooding.

I'm a 35 years old journalist, and I love dancing. Since childhood. I studied performing arts for twelve years and I have danced every kind of rhythm, from belly dancing to tango (rhythm I studied for five years). But always for fun. There is three years that me and my boyfriend, the engineer Edilson Souza (www.airbnb.com.br/users/show/235644101), attend forró parties and danced until the day cleared. We even won a little dance competition at the Center of Northeastern Traditions. Now we can offer an little class of basic steps and company to dance xote, arrasta-foot and xaxado, typical Brazilian rhythms.

We go to Canto da Ema, a traditional forró club in São Paulo, that hosts the brazilian biggest bands of this rhythm and has a varied and faithful public. In the same space is also the Bar do Canto, a restaurant with typical foods and affordable price.
