What you'll do

Taste your way from markets to farms in Mennonite country. We'll start at the St. Jacobs Farmers' Market to sample a few favorite local goodies, and then you'll have some free time to explore. Our next stop is Block Three Brewing Company, a small microbrewery with a rotating selection on tap. We'll get to sample some of their beers, then make our way into the heart of Mennonite country for lunch at an old general store and cafe. After lunch, we'll visit a Mennonite farm known for a famous local treat—maple syrup. Our final stop is in West Montrose at the covered Kissing Bridge.

We very much enjoyed the Mennonite Food Tour. Our host, Barb was very knowledgeable and we were able to enjoy parts of the area that we would not have done ourselves. We very much appreciated the fact that due to an illness in our group, Corinne and Barb worked with us to schedule another day that worked for us all. Thank you so much for a very fun and enjoyable day.

This tour of the Mennonite country was interesting and informative. We very much enjoyed St. Jacobs market and the Mennonite history museum. Barb was a very good guide and had an in depth knowledge of the Mennonite community. We would have liked to have seen more of the farm, but were running out of time by then.
